Brownfield Redevelopment Solutions, Inc.’s Principals:

Leah B. Yasenchak, AICP/PP
With over 11 years of environmental experience, Leah has served in the brownfields field on both the municipal and federal level. She has an MA degree in Public Administration of Environmental Policy from The American University and an MS degree in Environmental Science from Johns Hopkins University. Serving as USEPA’s executive on loan to the City of Trenton, New Jersey, Leah was responsible for bringing in over $12 million in grants and assisted in the remediation and redevelopment of over 20 brownfield sites. She has also served on numerous USEPA committees to establish grant program guidelines as well as served on several federal grant selection committees. Leah’s forte for successful grant writing and relationship building make her a premier brownfields policy expert.

Michele Christina
Michele has over 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting and municipal redevelopment fields. While serving as an environmental consultant, Michele oversaw the investigation and clean up of both Superfund and brownfield sites. Her municipal redevelopment experience includes serving as the City of Trenton’s brownfield coordinator for a nationally acclaimed brownfield program as well as serving as the City of Trenton’s Director of the Division of Economic Development. During her municipal service, Michele was directly responsible for the clean up and redevelopment of a myriad of sites, sheparding redevelopment projects from initial negotiations to ribbon cuttings. Michele serves as the technical lead for Brownfield Redevelopment Solutions, Inc. She has established a well-deserved reputation for synthesizing and implementing creative approaches for brownfield problems.
